Abortion Is Murder - 1062 Words

ABORTION IS MURDER â€Å"There are nearly 1.2 million abortions performed in the United States each year† (Operation Rescue, 2014). That was 1.2 million innocent lives that were ended before they even had a chance to begin. Abortion has been legal for decades now, and it is time to put a stop to all the murdering of unborn children. This senseless killing of an unborn child needs to be recognized for what it truly is, and that is legalized murder. Abortions should be made illegal in the United States because it is taking the life of an innocent person, there are other options out there and lastly abortions are not only harming the unborn child but also cause harm to the mother. Abortions should be illegal because they are murder. The definition of Abortion is â€Å"a medical procured used to terminate a pregnancy and results in the death of the fetus, or embryo† (Webster, n.d.). The definition of murder is† the crime of deliberate killing of a human† (Webster, n.d.). So there for getting an abortion is logically murder. Science has proven that the life of a human begins at conception, so when a surgeon performs an abortion it should be considered murder! If everyone else who commits murder goes to jail, then why should not the doctors who perform the life ending procedure? Or the mother that ok’s the procedure? They are doing the same thing as the person on the street who just shot and killed someone. They are both ending a human life and both should face the same consequences.Show MoreRelatedAbortion: Is It Murder?1524 Words   |  7 PagesAbortion is an extremely controversial issue and one that many people can have very strong feelings for on both sides of the debate. The Place I Have Visited for Holiday Free Essays

The Place I Have Visited For Holiday Last Chinese New Year would be my first one week break after entering the life of a college student. It was such a pleasant relieve because I do not think I could take another pressure after my mid-term examination. My friends from other colleges were also having their break from college so all of us decided to go for a short trip to Pulau Pinang. We will write a custom essay sample on The Place I Have Visited for Holiday or any similar topic only for you Order Now There were a total of nine people including myself. Originally, we planned to take the train to Pulau Pinang but they were out of tickets due to the festive celebration. So we took the bus instead. On our way there, the bus made a pit stop at Tapah. Most of my friends went down because it was just so cold on the bus but I decided to stay in. As the bus started to continue the journey to Pulau Pinang, I realised that my friends were not on the bus. And then I received a phone call from one of my friends saying that they were left behind. I quickly went to the driver to ask him to pull over so that my friends could catch up and get on the bus. Luckily, they were not too far behind. The journey took about six hours due to heavy rain. We reached Butterworth at around dawn. After that, we had to take the ferry to cross over to other side to get to Batu Ferringhi, Pulau Pinang. We were all really excited to finally arrive in Pulau Pinang but exhausted at the same time because of the long journey. So we decided to straightaway go to the guest house and check in. We spent the rest of the afternoon getting some rest before heading out to the beach which is just in front of the place we were staying at. After enjoying the view and playing some volleyball at the beach, we went for dinner at Gurney Drive. There was a wide variety of food to choose from. Each and every one of us bought different kinds of food then we exchange with each other and taste them. The food there was very delicious and tasty. We even took away some, in case we get hungry later. Then all of us went for a walk at the Ferringhi Night Market. There were so many tourists walking around too. We stopped by Sixty Nine Mansion to have some drinks before we head back to our guest house. The next day we checked out around noon and we took a train back home. We reached Kuala Lumpur safely later that night. In conclusion of our short trip to Pulau Pinang, it was truly a memorable experience. Pulau Pinang is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Malaysia. Pulau Pinang is also an exciting place to visit because it has so many attractions to offer. There are so many things to see and so many other things to do. All in all, Pulau Pinang is surely an amazing place to go for a short trip or vacation. The French Revolution, The American Civil War and the Rise of the Nazi Regime free essay sample

A comparative paper showing the history of all three of these monumental events and how they affected the world. The paper follows the events leading up to and during the course of the French Revolution, the American Civil War and Hitlers Nazi Partys rise to power. The paper shows how, in all three cases, the events were inevitable and at times, like in the case of Hitlers Mein Kampf, even predicted long before they actually happened. The events preceding the French Revolution, the American Civil War, and the Nazis rise to power were prophetic. As stated earlier, the Founding Fathers who wrote the U.S. Constitution knew that the issue of slavery would become a problem in future generations, yet the wording within the Constitution wasnt replaced at the time. King Louis XVI, an ineffective leader consumed by his own luxurious lifestyle, learned too late that the people of his country had the right to equality, to work, and to something as simple as bread.
